A few common questions

A little clarity before you get started.

Are the tools really free?

Yes. There is no account, subscription or payment step. This release has no advertising. Any future ads would need to be clearly labelled and kept away from tool controls.

Do my files leave my device?

The file-processing tools work locally in your browser and do not upload files. Loading the website still makes normal requests to the host, which may receive ordinary request metadata. Read the Privacy Policy for the distinction.

Which browsers can I use?

Use a current Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari with JavaScript enabled. Image formats available for download depend on your browser. If a feature is unavailable, try PNG output where offered or switch to an up-to-date browser.

Why are there file limits?

Your device provides the memory and processing power. Files are limited to 25 MB each, 20 files and 60 MB per batch, with additional page, pixel and spreadsheet limits. Small tasks can be more reliable on phones with less memory.

Where is my download?

Check your browser’s Downloads list or the folder you usually save files to. The tool displays a download link when processing finishes. Multiple results are packaged in a ZIP; open that ZIP to see its files.

Can I cancel a task?

Yes. The Cancel processing button terminates the local worker and discards its partial output. You can keep your selected files and try again. Start again clears the current task.

Can I process a password-protected PDF?

No. Encrypted PDFs are rejected. If you own the document, use a trusted PDF application to save an unencrypted copy before processing it.

Why does a CSV change when I open it in Excel?

CSV does not store cell types. Spreadsheet software may interpret identifiers as numbers, date-like values as dates, or values beginning with = as formulas. Import columns as text, or use CSV to Excel to create explicit text cells.

Do the tools work completely offline?

The files are processed locally, but the site and the tool’s processing code must first load from the host. There is no offline-installation guarantee or service worker in this release.

Is there anything I should check before sharing a result?

Keep the original, open the output and check the pages, picture quality or data values you care about. Test a QR code with your phone before printing it. Conversion can change features that are outside a tool’s supported subset.
