Privacy Policy
Your files are processed on your device. Here is what that means, and what happens when you visit the website.

Who is responsible?
LightlyTools is operated from the United Kingdom by Andrew Wallace. This is the operator responsible for the website and the controller of personal information handled in running it.
For questions, problem reports or privacy requests, email zen.lightgames@gmail.com.
Your files and tool inputs
PDFs, images, CSVs and workbooks are read and processed locally in browser workers. Text, QR content and passwords are handled in the current browser page. The application has no file-upload endpoint, external conversion API or server-processing fallback.
LightlyTools does not save your files or tool inputs to persistent browser storage. Selected files and results are held in the current page while you use a tool. Resetting the tool or leaving the page releases the application’s references to them; this is not a secure-erasure guarantee. Downloads are saved wherever your browser normally saves them. Clipboard actions use your browser clipboard only when you choose to copy.
Browser extensions and your browser’s own history, downloads, clipboard and session-restoration features operate separately from LightlyTools. Keep your device and browser up to date. You do not need to supply a name, email address or account to use the tools.
Ordinary website requests
Loading a page requests HTML, scripts, styles and images from the site’s host. Hosting infrastructure receives request information, which can include your IP address, requested URL, browser information and time of access. Security or operational logs are separate from the files you process locally.
Avoid putting confidential information in a tool search. Suggestions and filtering run locally, but submitting the search form requests a URL containing your search query. That URL can appear in hosting logs and browser history.
Website hosting and content delivery are provided by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process IP addresses and technical request information to deliver and protect the website.
If you contact us
You can contact the operator at zen.lightgames@gmail.com. Emailing shares your email address, message and any details you include with the operator and the email providers involved. There is no support upload form. Please describe the problem without sending private files, passwords or unnecessary personal information.
Contact enquiries are used to respond to messages and manage related correspondence. Messages are retained while needed for those purposes and deleted when no longer reasonably necessary, subject to applicable legal obligations.
Cookies and local preferences
This application sets no cookies, loads no third-party analytics or advertising, and includes no tracking pixels. If you choose a colour theme, the site stores “light” or “dark” in your browser’s localStorage under lightly-theme. This preference is used only to remember your appearance choice and is not sent to the application server.
The preference stays in that browser until you change it, clear the site’s browser data, or your browser removes it. Without a saved preference, the site follows your device’s light or dark setting. The owner must disclose any additional security cookies or storage introduced by the live host.
Your data-protection rights
Under UK data-protection law, you may have rights to access personal information held about you, correct it, ask for its deletion or restricted use, and receive certain information in a portable form. Which rights apply depends on the processing and its lawful basis. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Use the operator’s contact details above to ask about personal information held in connection with hosting or correspondence. Locally processed files are not held by the operator, so the operator cannot retrieve them for you.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data-protection regulator. Its complaints information is available at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/ and its helpline is 0303 123 1113. You can contact the operator first to raise a concern.
Your right to object
If your personal information is processed on the basis of legitimate interests, you have a right to object on grounds relating to your particular situation. Contact the operator using the details above. The operator must consider your objection under the applicable data-protection rules.
Advertising, analytics and changes
Advertising and analytics are disabled. There are no accounts, marketing lists or automated decisions about people with legal or similarly significant effects in these tools.
Any future advertising, analytics or change to how personal information is handled needs an updated disclosure and appropriate consent arrangements where required before activation. The date shown on this page identifies its latest revision.
